June 07, 2017

Sorry. No review at this time. I do not own a copy of these discs.

Ark Soundtrack Square is happy to inform an amazing Akira Ifukube's Soundtrack collection:

Akira Ifukube: Nikkatsu Film Music Complete Works (4CD):
A definitive soundtrack collection featuring 180 tracks of music Akira Ifukube composed for all fourteen Nikkatsu films on four discs! Contains all OK takes from the survived mastertapes of six films, and BGM from other eight films are taken from the optical sound recordings (possibly taken from the part without dialogue and sound effects). Limited 200 sets.

UPDATED INFO: June 17, 2017 by Brandon O'Brian

The set was originally limited to 200 sets, but they quickly sold out well ahead of its release date. Three Shells made a second pressing of an unknown number. However, this second pressing just sold out at the Three Shells website, so it may be out-of-print now.
