This 14 track CD has a combination of vocal and instrumental songs from various Kamen Rider series of TV shows.

New Kamen Rider (also known as Skyrider, Kamen Rider Skyrider, or simply Kamen Rider) is a Japanese tokusatsu television series. It is the sixth programme in the Kamen Rider franchise. The series was broadcast on TBS from October 5, 1979 to October 10, 1980, lasting 54 episodes. The series was a co-production between Toei and Ishinomori Productions, and was created by Shotaro Ishinomori. It aired every Saturday at 7:00 PM.

Kamen Rider Super-1 ran October 17, 1980 - October 3, 1981 (48 episodes) and was played by Takasugi Shunsuke.

Kamen Rider ZX was a Kamen Rider Japanese TV special that aired on January 3, 1984.

About 3 years passed between the end of Kamen Rider Super 1 and the introduction of the tenth Kamen Rider in Jugotanjo Kamen Rider Zeninshugo [Kamen Rider #10'S Birth! Riders Come Together] which featured all of the previous nine Kamen Riders (1 through Super-1). ZX was originaly a character in a 13 part magazine serial. Apparently there had at one time been plans for a Kamen Rider ZX series but no such series was ever made, past the introductory special.

The music on this CD is appealing and has great variety. A few tracks even have a synth/techno feel. I have not seen the shows so can't tell how well the music worked in the shows but if I had to guess would say it conveyed the on screen action.

This CD is part of the Animex 1200 series (#33) of CDs and each disc in the series is limited to 5000 copies.
