October 18, 2006 This CD is #112 in the Animex 1200 set of limited releases (limited to 5,000 copies). In general, most of the ANIMEX CDs are budget reissues of older Columbia LPs. This one is reasonable priced at http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/. Nice sounding CD that works well as stand alone listening. The 1st track is a vocal opening theme and track 11 is a vocal Ending theme. Track 4 reminds me of something you'd hear in a Sergio Leone spagetti western as does track 5. Some of track 6 reminds me of music heard on the TV western "Bonanza". Not sure why some of these Ultraman songs should remind me of westerns but they do. Overall this was a very pleasant listening experience. |
