Masaru Satoh comes back to score this movie. As with quite a few of Mr. Satoh's various movie scores, this one has a jazz feel to parts of it. We also get some jungle type rhythms here that are very reminiscent of the original "King Kong" score. There are a lot of really short cues on this CD. This is a really pleasant listening experience but as with most of Mr. Satoh's Godzilla scores there is not much here to clue you in that this is a score to a Godzilla movie if you didn't already know it. Overall this is a good mix of action, suspense and slower tunes. Track # 28, "Miyarabi's* Prayer", is a female vocal track. Track # 36 is another female vocal with a very traditional Japanese sound to it. Track # 37 is just another version of Track # 28 and is a song to King Seesar. The lyrics to Miyarabi's Prayer
