May 24, 2006 I won this CD on eBay. I had never heard of it before and decided to take a chance. Of the nine tracks on this CD, three of them are "Godzilla". All three are variations on the Blue Oyster Cult "Godzilla" song. Track 1 is sort of a slightly punked up version with Godzilla roars interspersed throughout. Track 3 is a techno-pop version of the song with less roars and Track 9 is another techno mix. The other tracks on this CD range from techno-pop sounding tunes to straight pop with a sound like early Prince songs around his "Purple Rain" and earlier tracks. The CD isn't bad but certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Nothing here is from any of the Godzilla movies or soundtracks other than possible sampling of the roars. The back cover lists a web site of www.superfuzzmusic.com but it seems to no longer exist. |
