| REVIEW |
I REALLY enjoyed this CD. The music on this CD is a great mix of adventure type music and softer, romantic type music. We also have, on Track 4, an updated Mothra song. This is the same song that has been done in the past by The Peanuts & The Cosmos. While the words are the same, the music and instrumentation has been updated and sounds great instead of being annoying or making you cringe as most updates of older songs do. It won't replace or make you forget the original but is a really nice update. On Track #17 there is also a female vocal that sounds like a new song to or about Mothra. In this movie King Ghidorah comes back to fight Mothra. I've played this CD several times already and it grew on me instantly. If you're a Mothra fan, don't pass this one by if you can get it. My only complaint about this CD is that it has some multimedia content. That in itself isn't bad except that the content is just the movie trailer in Quicktime format and a picture of the CD cover art in multiple formats. I don't think this really added anything to the disc and also probably accounts for the price increase and under 50 minute playing time of this disc. If you are going to add PC multimedia content to a CD, make it worthwhile or leave it off and give us more music. |
