REVIEW

January 6, 2002

Michael Mahon told me about this disc and the web site where you can buy it and also find out more information about it at: http://www.zipcaplan.com.

This is a very enjoyable CD done as a labor of love by Tom "Zip" Caplan and as it says, a Cast Of Thousands. When you look at the credits and musicians that appear on this CD it is like a veritable Who's Who of the (mostly rock) music world. The recordings here are done with rock instruments rather than a full orchestra. It may take some people a little getting used to but I found it to be a refreshing take on these classic themes. Visit the web site to listen to some samples and/or to buy the CD.
