This page is devoted mostly to the two main composers of the music in Godzilla movies. Akira Ifukube did the vast majority of these films and it's his marches and action music that remains so firmly etched in our brains that we can't think of anything but Godzilla when we hear them. Masaru Satoh did the second most scores for the Godzilla movies and like Mr. Ifukube also scored many many other films.

This page had grown very large over the years so in the interest of faster loading I have split this page into several seperate pages. Four devoted to the music of Akira Ifukube, one to Masaru Satoh, one to Toru Takemitsu and one for the other composers.
